Paraproctitis: Causes and Treatments
What's it?
Paraproctitis is a festic inflammation of the tissues surrounding the rectum. There is acute (first-time) and chronic paraproctitis (develops as a result of untreated acute paraproctitis)
Why is this the case?
Causes of acute paraproctitis may be non-compliance with personal hygiene rules, traumatic manipulation sway in the canal, the presence of diseases of the anus (anal cracks, hemorrhoids).
Diagnostics
There is acute (first-time) and chronic paraproctitis, which occurs with the formation of conusive passages and cavities (abscesses).
The most common causes of acute paraproctitis : non-compliance with personal hygiene rules, traumatic manipulation in the canal, the presence of anus diseases. All of them lead to the trauma of the lining of the rectum, and when the resulting defects get pathogenic bacteria, there is a neuger inflammation. In some cases, paraprocatitis occurs for no apparent reason.
Identify the disease during examination and finger examination of the rectum. To avoid complications of acute paraprocatitis, women also need to consult a gynecologist, and men - a urologist.
Treatment
Treatment of acute paraproctitis is only surgical. The operation should be performed as soon as the diagnosis is made.
The operation is performed under anesthesia. The purpose of the operation is to dissect the neunick (abscess) and remove the gnome. After the operation, bandages are performed, antibiotics and general strengthening products are prescribed. Such an operation can be carried out in any surgical hospital.
