Interview with the Enemy
Alex Smith ready to traumatize the Saints yet again Another week of football http://www.thesaintsfootballauthentic.co...-authentic , and another week of our Interview with the Enemy series. This week, our friend, Ken Meringolo of Hogs Haven, answers 5 quick questions about our week five matchup against Alex Smith and the Washington Redskins.***After choosing not to re-sign Kirk Cousins this offseason Youth Ryan Ramczyk Jersey , what has been your impression of Alex Smith at the helm? Any regrets? The Redskins team from the Week 2 loss against the Colts and the Week 3 win over the Packers looked like two completely different teams. Who are the real Redskins? If you were the Saints, how would you game plan to attack the Washington Redskins defense?Who is one Redskins player that Saints fans might not be familiar with that you expect to make an impact in this game? What’s your prediction for the game? Final score? ***A big thanks to Ken for taking the time to answer our questions. Make sure you check out his work and the rest of the good folks at Hogs Haven for tons of Redskins content. You can follow Ken on Twitter @ItsRainingKen, Hogs Haven @HogsHaven, and of course you can always follow me @dunnellz.Who will replace Mark Ingram in the first four weeks? Mark Ingram’s four-game suspension was one of the biggest storylines of the entire NFL this offseason http://www.thesaintsfootballauthentic.co...-authentic , and definitely one of the biggest headlines for the New Orleans Saints. After Ingram rushed for a career-high 1,124 yards in 2017 as part of the Saints’ two-headed rushing attack along with Alvin Kamara, the Saints will be leaning on other Running Backs to pick up the slack. That’s why Bleacher Report named the Saints issues at Running Back through the season’s first four weeks as the biggest remaining question for the Saints as we prepare for the start of the 2018 regular season:The Saints have absolutely made an attempt to address the position. They have signed Terrance West and Shane Vereen. They also drafted RB Boston Scott out of Louisiana Tech in the 6th Round of the 2018 NFL Draft. After releasing Daniel Lasco, the Saints will look to find Ingram’s temporary replacement between some combination of Vereen http://www.thesaintsfootballauthentic.co...-authentic , West, Scott, Jonathan Williams and Trey Edmunds. Who do you think will be that guy? Vote in the poll. Explain in the comments. Send me presents.
