Apple Could Kill Off the iPhone Feature Everyone Hates
Apple has recently prototyped a 6.7-inch iPhone that doesn’t feature a notch, with the Face ID and all the required components for the facial recognition system embedded right into the top bezel. This information comes from Ben Geskin, who has a good track on mobile scoops, and if true, could be the first step towards a world without a notch on the iPhone. The notch debuted on the iPhone X as line live cheat one of the most controversial design features ever, and its role was to house Face ID and the TrueDepth camera system while reducing bezels to a minimum.

While other phones boasted a notch before iPhone X, Apple is considered the pioneer of this feature, pretty much because it made it more mainstream, leading to other manufacturers to embrace the same idea, not necessarily to embed facial recognition system, but to join this new design kinemaster cheat trend and increase the available screen estate as much as possible. "Major iPhone upgrades next year" Now according to the said tipster, Apple is thinking of killing off the notch on the iPhone. “One of the 2020 iPhone prototypes has 6.7-inch display with Face ID and TrueDepth camera system housed in the top bezel,” he tweeted.

While this is just a prototype, which means that everything can change overnight and still see a notch on the 2020 iPhone, it’s not the first time we’re hearing of Apple planning substantial changes for this generation of iPhones. A 6.7-inch iPhone next year is all but confirmed, and people powerdirector cheat familiar with the matter, including Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, said the Cupertino-based tech giant wants to launch an iPhone that comes with both Face ID and Touch ID. For now, however, Apple might just be exploring its options, so it remains to be seen if it’s possible from a technical perspective to embed Face ID into such a small bezel at the top of the phone.
