have you tried to use the function delete() ??? it doesnt exist..
the correct function to delete files in php IS unlink()

you opened this topic cos you was not sure how to do this.
you have been given the correct way/function to use.
then you refuse to believe its the correct way.
at this point im not sure why the topic was made now..

RE: Any know php? :P ENTER :P
unlink() deletes/removes the file from your server.
which is basically what you want to do right?

i was also confused by the name of the function the first time i came across it.
but it DOES completely remove/delete the file from the server. which is what you want to do. "save space"

RE: Any know php? :P ENTER :P
elete () no es una función real. es un nombre de función ficticio para las personas que
"intentan" encontrar la función de desvinculación mientras buscan en php.net/
como se indica aquí:  https://www.carnetalia.com
