RE: 4 Go-To Apps For Revision and Exam Prep
In order to get a successful revision we must follow the following three steps :

Organizing Your Revision

First of all find a good place to study eg : a quiet, well-lit place to concentrate comfortably and free of distraction.
Keep yourself out of social media like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
According to science brains work better if we're a little cold, or on a rigid chair and feel free to get down in your comfortable wear.
Next important step is to plan your timetable for your revision and stick to it. If your are working according to your Time Table then you will be able to make clear goals for each revision session.
Substitute of a Time Table could be tick list / to - do list. But either of the two should cover all the subject areas or units
Always set reasonable targets of the day. Do not think of covering a whole subject in one day. It will do harm rather than doing good.
If you are doing revision daily while studying from your own prepared notes; then you will remember more and feel less stressed before exam.
Revising Actively

Always highlight your notes/book while studying to all the important points, lines, headings or sub - headings.
Recall and summarize in every few minutes to what you've read.
Always make a habit of writing short summaries, sentences while making notes.

In some cases students might learn faster by visual study then in that case it is important to draw down the information into drawings or diagrams. This method also helps to recall easier in the long run.

Try to find someone who knows nothing about the topic you have studied and then explain to them. If you didn't find anyone then explain to the mirror or your cat (just an example). This method will help in keeping the stuff within your memory for longer duration.
Try to revise from old question papers or guide books. Answering past exam or test papers will gives you an opportunity to test yourself under the same constraints.

Do remember to take breaks periodically to boost your concentration. Don't waste energy and time with an over-tired mind.
Finding Support

Always try to talk to your teachers or professors for their support.
For final revision revise with your other classmates but try to find such group of students who want to succeed.
It is an humble request to all the family members as well to help their children in studies even if you don't understand. This helps improving the moral support of your children when they are feeling down or anxious about the revision.
