i think any script that requires you to use php_magic_quotes and wont run without should not be used at all.

This feature has been DEPRECATED as of PHP 5.3.0 and REMOVED as of PHP 5.4.0.

you will have to look for the function that uses the magic_quotes_gpc call, and remove the function.
its a pointless and lazy function anyway that should not be used as security. you should really be using the correct and safer ways of doing this. real_escape_string, htmlentities etc etc..

If i delete it, it will need this to in stall: php_value magic_quotes_gpc 0 and when i did not delete the .htaccess, if i try to install it is bringing 500 internal error. Check http://www.youngspenders.com

you would baqsically need to remove php_value magic_quotes_gpc from .htaccess file.
then you would need to go through the actual script that uses this function.
which could look something like this:
PHP Code:
if (get_magic_quotes_gpc()) {
//do some stripslashing here.

or it could even be used like this.
(this is how i would use it.. it will only activate if the setting allow it.)
PHP Code:
function cleanse($data) {
$data db::mysqli()->real_escape_string(htmlentities(get_magic_quotes_gpc() ? stripslashes($data) : $dataENT_QUOTES'UTF-8'));
return
$data;

and basically removing any traces of the get_magic_quotes_gpc() function.

although. i would have to say this is probably just a problem with your hosts settings
rather than the function itself. since even though the function will be deprecated in php 5.3.0 and above.
if it is used properly like shown above in both example. the function should never be called since its not active in php.ini file.

before you go messing about with codes and whatnot. maybe try speaking with your host.
see what php version they use and if they allow magic quotes function. if they dont and you still want to use it. might be worth looking into a different host.

take alook here also it may help explain how the function should or should not be used:
